Jolanda and her husband were super friendly and helpful. We arrived late around 21:30 but they still took the time to show us around their cozy B&B. The place is right on the highway which makes it the perfect spot if you are driving up from Wellington (or the other way of course). The room has a cool and fun design, it was spacious and we loved it. The breakfast was brought up to the room at the time we agreed upon the night before. There is even a cute little balcony and a cat to snuggle with if you feel like it!

Everything was perfect. Cozy room, comfortable beds, great bathroom and kitchen inside the room. Breakfast was included. This was such a beautiful home to stay in. It was luxury at it's finest. Fred and his wife were great hosts, our private space was way more than we had expected, chocolate on each side of the bed, free wifi, coffee machine, breakfast was perfect, bathrobes, heated towel rail, heated floor in the bathroom, complimentary refreshments, everything was just perfect. Thankyou both for making our date night stay the best. Highly recommend.
Tucked away in a quiet suburban setting to the west of the city centre this air conditioned garden flat has all the amenities for a very comfortable stay. The bed was excellent, and access to the forest and lake was a bonus. Our hostess was welcoming and charming, and made sure that we settled in with a minimum of fuss.
The hosts were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the quiet location at the back of the section at the end of a cul de sac, and with a park almost next door, a couple of km from the city centre. The homemade muesli, jams and biscuits made us feel very welcome, the boutique May Chang soaps were a lovely touch, and everything was spotlessly clean. We appreciated having a fridge, microwave, toaster, electric jug, etc.
Fabulously clean. Nice and quiet. Great location. Everything was in perfect order, and so well kept. Lots of pillow choices, electric blankets on all beds, and plenty of spare blankets (we hit a cold snap). The private spa was awesome.
The hosts, Jenny and Doug, were lovley! They truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and very enjoyable. Very thought out appliances, everything we could need was there. The home made breakfast items and the soaps were such a wonderful touch. The boutique was quiet and private. We had a really lovley stay and will definitely book again when in the area!
The location was great, no traffic noise, quiet and handy to city centre. We had a unit overlooking the park with a private outdoor area to sit. The staff were friendly and helpful.We were given milk in a reusable glass bottle which was appreciated.
