Tony met us on arrival, was very friendly and welcoming. Noticed we had double booked by mistake and happily sorted it out with travel agency. Room was very tidy with everything you need. Breakfast was ample and totally delicious! Although attached to the main house, Gables B&B is incredibly private. It's also quiet and peaceful and a well-located base from which to explore the Ruapehu region. The host is very generous with breakfast provisions and snacks, including fresh fruit and free range eggs each day. The kitchen is small but well equipped, the bed comfortable - and the bathroom is serviced daily.
Very friendly staff. Great location, close to city centre . Comfy clean unit and very quiet.
