Located in a quiet oceanfront area on the island of Averøy, this former Bacalao (salt modified and dried cod) factory has been restored into a rustic guesthouse. The brightly decorated studio apartments tell you the ancient history of the building. The rooms come with views of the Atlantic Ocean from French balconies. Kristiansund town center is 10km away. The Atlantic Ocean Road is 25km away. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and huge. We got the family room that advertised a double bed and two singles. It actually had two bedrooms with the advertised beds (and blackout curtains) and a huge living room with two comfortable couches. The view was amazing. We saw a jellyfish bloom right from our window. Rafael (primary staff) is incredibly friendly and helpful.

The units in the bed and breakfast are equipped with a kettle. Every unit comes with a shared bathroom. At the bed and breakfast, every unit has bed linen and towels.

The nearest airport is Orsta–Volda Airport, 5 km from the bed and breakfast. After a full day and night of travelling, I got a very warm welcoming with a open and friendly heart, and all the stress I had wash just washed away in seconds. I felt home immediately and the place is super cosy and charming. The bus station is easy to reach by foot and the airport is only a couple of minutes with a taxi. Thank you very much, I enjoyed having a coffee with you in the morning and my first brown cheese of the year👌. The comunicaciones was also very good, fast and helpful. (Thanks a lot for your patients to answer all my questions) If I need a place to sleep over again, I will not look any further and be happy to come back

Pleasant, cosy, stylishly decorated, immaculately clean, cleverly conceived large room with a beautiful view. Kitchen en bathroom equally pleasant. Our favourite accommodation during our trip in Norway. Far beyond expectations, for a very reasonable fare. It made other accommodations (often more expensive) pale in comparison. Easy communication with the owners. The type of room you wish yourself in every visited place.

The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. Great staff, great people, cordial atmosphere in this guest house which was very cosy, clean and warm. I felt like home ! The kitchen was perfectly equipped and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. It will be definitely one of my favourite places to stay in Norway ! 🇳🇴 I highly recommend it.

The nearest airport is Molde, Årø Airport, 1 km from the bed and breakfast. I stayed in one of the charming cabins in Molde, Norway, and had a fantastic experience. The cabin was well-equipped with amenities like a TV, refrigerator, kettle, and all necessary cutlery and plates. The cozy setup, featuring two single beds together, a table, and two chairs, made for a comfortable stay. Parking right in front of the cabin was convenient, and the overall value for the price paid was excellent. Mr. Adam, the owner, was incredibly helpful and kind, adding to the warmth of the experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a short stay in Molde, Norway.
