Very informative of the area. The guest house had a lovely shrine nearby, a nice fireplace and bikes available. Would recommend it to everyone!

Situated within 2.3 km of Morioka Station and 3.3 km of Morioka Ice Arena, Tototo Morioka features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Morioka. All the information and guidance was clear. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff and other guests were so friendly. It was wonderful experience to spend one night here and I definitely will visit again next time I visit Morioka.

It is just near the Geibekei Gorge, so you can walk there, and the guesthouse let me leave my bag there . It's a lovely stay, pristine and tidy. Hot tea is free in the dining area. The staff are attentive and welcoming.

Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. the staff was so nice and friendly, it is the house of an old couple. its not really a hotel but it just feels like youre staying over at your relatives or something. its very spacious. i really enjoyed the breakfast too.

There is a hot spring bath facility, a 5-minute drive from the property. Property prepares a coupon for the hot spring. A convenience store is located 10 minutes walk away from Uchi Matsushima Guesthouse. The guesthouse is in a great location, close to the pier and the temple. The room and facilities were exceptionally clean. And most importantly the host is so friendly and helpful! He speaks perfect English and was eager to talk about Japanese culture and listen about ours :) I couldn’t recommend more!

Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy an Asian breakfast. Warm welcome on arrival from hosts who were so kind and helpful going above and beyond expectations. The delicious freshly prepared breakfast was wonderful. The room was private and area quiet. Best of all was the company of the lovely hosts.

Mintaro Hut Guesthouse is an entirely non-smoking property. A smoking area is located in front of the building. The free-use kitchen is equipped with a stove, a microwave and a fridge. Cooking utensils are provided. I loved my stay at Mintaro Hut. Sato-san is a great host! This guesthouse is definitely a great experience for anyone who wants a chill and family-like stay during their trip. Home cooked meals for dinner, all facilities are very clean and my room was very comfortable. The location is right next to Kajo Park and also near the train station (15 min walk). Great location for anyone who wants to explore Yamadera (15 min away by train).

Guest House Umebachi offers dormitory-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Guests can rent bicycles to tour the area and relax at the outdoor terrace. JR Nigatake Train Station is a 10-minute walk and JR Sendai Train Station is a 15-minute drive away. Relatively close to the station and the facilities were nice. My favorite part, however, was talking with the staff. Everyone, staff and other guests, was super nice and understanding making it my favorite part of my Japan trip so far. Especially how it was a great chance to meet lots of new people from all over Japan and the world and practice my Japanese with everyone working there. I would highly recommend!

The couple that owns this business made us feel like family. Mao and Qu are so kind and welcoming. They treated us like family. They picked us up from the bus station, drove us to a wonderful dinner location (which they recommended), drove us to the ski resort, and helped with all our luggage. I was so happy to meet them and talk with them. The room is just as warm as the owners. The floors are heated and the beds are very comfortable. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.
