We cooked together, made some trips and just went for dinner/drinking. Since I speak only a bit of Japanese there was some language barrier, since the host speaks only japanese. However, some of the guests could speak a bit of English and for the translation apps could be used. Nevertheless I never felt excluded.

The decorations and details made it feel like “it was from a picture book” to quote my wife. The owner is a very nice lady that helped us feel very welcome on the island and we enjoyed the homemade breakfast in the garden the next morning.

There was lots of information available in the living room including ferry timetables and restaurant recommendations. The snorkel tour was outstanding. Our hosts were very knowledgeable.

The owners are very nice - helped us with everything we need (helped us to book kayak lesson, restaurant reservation, and has all the gear needed for water activities..) The rooms are very comfortable, The hostel is SUPER clean (feels like a 5 star hotel) Really nice shared space, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, laundry room is very good. Their dog Iru is the cutest!! We would definitely come back. We enjoyed our stay so much and we are very sad to leave!!!! Big thank you from Israel :)
