Kintetsu Nara Station is a 13-minute walk away, while Kasuga Taisha Shrine is a 20-minute stroll. Had a wonderful stay in the guesthouse, one of the best ones out there. The owner preparea a bathtub everynight for the guests. Overall the place is very cozy

It's a short walk to the train station, and close to many attractions in Nara. The host, Yoko made all of the guests feel right at home, even going out of her way to provide a good experience and socializing with other guests. The beds were big and comfortable, and I slept well in the shared bunk room. Overall an amazing experience staying here, a highlight of my trip to Japan!

I would definitely recommend this place for everyone who wishes to experience a traditional Japanese stay.

We were given a lovely greeting, shown our beautiful tatami room and given a quick tour of the communal facilities. It was a restful stay with a fabulous sushi restaurant only minutes walk up the hill for a late dinner. Genuine hospitality all round!
