Parking outside the door is easy, a good bed but they are singles, a good sized fridge, a two burner stove, enough cookware and plates and cups. We had oil, salt, pepper, coffee and tea. We were surprised by a bottle of wine! What a treat ! The shower had good pressure and lots of hot water and the air conditioning and heat were great. Quiet and easy to find, everything went well. Free Wi-Fi access is provided. We had a very warm welcome at this wonderful guesthouse. The hosts were very helpful with information on how to arrive, tips on where to eat and what to do in the area. Our room and bathroom was beautiful and had everything we needed. It had a lovely porch/garden outside our room underneath the trees and amongst the plants. Breakfast was also great and varied. The room also had a well equipped kitchen including a microwave and enough space to prepare meals comfortably. John and Marion are great hosts and we would definitely go back again if we have the opportunity. This is a great spot to call home as you explore the area which has beautiful trekking spots, wonderful viewpoints of the natural reserve park of Ein Avdat, Ben Gurions grave and other places to discover.

A 25-minute drive from the Dead Sea, the Yehelim Boutique Hotel lies on the outskirts of Arad. It offers spacious rooms with a spa bath and private balcony with views of the desert. The UNESCO-protected Masada Ruins are 20 km away. Nice location and view. But the best is the staff! If you are fed up with unfriendly hotel staff in Israel this is the the oasis you are looking for. Only hotel in Israel we felt genuinely welcomed as guests and not considered as a walking cash-machine. If we return to Israel to enjoy spring weather in the desert this is the place.
