The area is popular for hiking, with the Wicklow Way trail within 400 metres of the property. Glendalough is 11 km from Coolalingo B&B. Quiet spot with wonderful hosts and breakfast! We were blessed to play with their puppies and the horses, and everyone was very welcoming and friendly.

Everything was amazing. The rooms were so clean and comfy. Is so magic when you wake up in the morning and have the lake, sheeps and donkeys. They serve the breakfast in the time you choose and there is different options to choose from. The bread and scones were handmade. The lady who take care of us was so kind. Incredible!!

The famous monastery of Glendalough is just 15 minutes’ drive away. Out host was super friendly and always asked if she could offer suggestions on sightseeing in the area. The breakfast was amazingly delicious and the room was so elegantly decorated and super clean and comfortable. There was also the most inviting garden area to start my morning in on the backside of the building. I found such peace sitting back there listening to the birds and being surrounded by nature in the middle of a town. It was pure bliss.

Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi, and Wicklow Golf Club is 5 minutes’ drive away. Fiona was super welcoming/accommodating and friendly. We stayed here for 1 night as we attended a wedding in tinnakilly house. Fiona offered us lifts to/from the venue and gave us tips about taxis/getting to and from there. For the price it was unbelievable accommodation (big room) and a really good breakfast the next day. Would highly recommend here!

A Full English/Irish breakfast is available each morning at the bed and breakfast. I highly recommend this cottage for a short or long stay! The hosts are amazing, they have a lot of animals (dog, cats, hens) and their cottage is lovely :) The room is quite big with a lot of storage space and is situated in the seperate part of the house with its own bathroom. The bed is super comfortable! I highly recommend the breakfast since the eggs come from their hens and the hosts are both amazing cooks :) If we ever return to Ireland, we will definitely return to Felicity cottage!
