Everything’s was wonderful from beginning to end. When we arrived Caroline made us a wonderful tray of hot tea and sweet homemade treats. The room was beautifully apportioned, and all details thought out. A fan if we were hot and an extra blanket if we got cold. (The fan definitely came in handy!) Breakfast was also wonderful! So many options - all of them tasty. Homemade bread and biscuits, yogurt parfaits, an assortment of cheeses and meats…and more. The space is wonderful and so are the hosts. We highly recommend this beautiful B&B!

Philippe and Sophie do an amazing job of making guests feel welcome. So many small details have been thought through. They are warm and thoughtful and full of great information about the area. The space is clean, the breakfast is perfect - they’ve put a lot of effort into ensuring different tastes are catered for. I was treated to freshly picked peaches from Philippe’s own greenhouse for example. The gardens are beautiful. The common room has a comfortable place to sit and chat …if you wish to and there’s a selection of books to read with your afternoon tea- including ones that Philippe has written himself. I actually feel sad to have left as I write this review from my new accommodation in another town in Ireland; it’s just not the gold seal of service that I experienced at Rodeen! I look forward to returning on my next visit to Ireland.
