Athina Guesthouse is situated in a quiet neighbourhood within a 5-minute walk away from the cosmopolitan and commercial port of Hydra.

It is a traditional stone-made mansion with fully equipped rooms. It offers views of the historical town of Hydra and has a yard. The rooms include a TV, a kettle and free WiFi. It was a little bit away from the harbor, but was excellent! Evita is the greatest hostess, so kind, helpful and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and beds super comfy. The outdoor common area was a real magnet. The last night I was there we had quite the international gathering. A lot of fun and camaraderie. I highly recommend - Steve, Bklyn, NYC.

With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces. It consists of elegantly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. We had a wonderful six-day stay in Hydra due in large part to the pleasure of « going home » to the Nereids Guesthouse at the end of the day after walking on the numerous hiking paths of the island and exploring the streets of the lovely town of Hydra. Everything at the guesthouse was a pleasure to look at: the white stone buildings the various terraces, our comfortable room with an elegant vaulted ceiling, and the superb views from our windows. The location at the end of the village is perfect, only a few minutes from the sea but in a less densely built part than the center. It definitely had a country feeling. Honking donkeys and crowing roosters were waking us up in the morning! We strongly recommend the Nereids Guesthouse!
