York Castle Museum is 13 minutes' drive away. The place is great, nice comfortable rooms, with all the necessary equipment. The owners were more than wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was rich and very tasty, the atmosphere in the pub was excellent. The place is ca. 15 minutes walk from York train station and ca. 15. minutes to the city center. Nearest shop is about 10 minutes away. Free parking places are available next to the building. We were more than satisfied with our stay and hope to return one day.

In the morning, a hearty full English breakfast is served. Many restaurants and bars can be found a 15-minute walk from the guest house. The host Danielle was SO kind, and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms were cozy, comfortable, and clean. Would stay here everytime I visited York.

It’s a well preserved house which was built in 1600s. Nice host and great location.
