East Calder
At the guest house, all units are fitted with a outdoor furniture and a flat-screen TV. There is a private bathroom with shower in some units, along with bathrobes, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the guest house, the units include bed linen and towels. The host is very friendly and warm. Accommodation is clean and confy and close to the airport (15 min driving - 20 GBP by taxi). Parking is a plus.

Thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend .

Wonderful apartment, very comfortable in a lovely area. Well placed to explore local landmarks and attractions.
Uphall
The guest house is fitted with a TV. The kitchenette comes with a microwave, a toaster and a fridge and there is a private bathroom with a hair dryer and free toiletries. The property has an outdoor dining area. We adored staying with Kathy. The booking was far beyond our expectations and the photos provided don't do it justice. Everything was spotless! And we were presented with a welcome basket on arrival. If we ever go back to Scotland again we'll definitely be staying here.
Linlithgow

The compact rooms at the West Port feature shower rooms with hairdryers. Rooms also include can tea/coffee making facilities.
The staff was so polite and helpful, it made us feel really welcome. We liked our rooms, we had two different rooms, one smaller and a bigger one and they were very clean, beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed.
Also, the breakfast was excellent!
Bathgate
Situated in Bathgate, 32 km from Hopetoun House, Rooms at Tarrareoch features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The guest house, set in a building dating from 19th century, is 34 km from Edinburgh Zoo and 36 km from Murrayfield Stadium. The guest house has family rooms. The owners were very polite and even lent us a mini fridge for some of our items. The room was also nicely decorated (and recently) so everything was perfect.
Was private and quiet
The hotel is located close to Edinburgh Airport in a relatively quiet area. Walking is possible in the surroundings. One lady from the welcome desk was really charming and competent.
The aparment is lovely, I particulary loved the seating by the window. Emma is a great host! Very responsive and gave us all the information beforehand and very sweet. The location is very quiet and close to the Eliburn park, which we loved. 100 % recommend!
Fantastic little cottage in private grounds,with plenty of space. We travelled with a dog,and there was plenty of space for her to run around. Just a few minutes walk up to the railway station which goes every hour into Edinburgh, way cheaper than driving in and parking. Great communication from the hosts, and would thoroughly recommend Highfield Cottage for anyone wishing to have a break in or around Edinburgh.
Great place secluded private and quiet ,very clean perfect for a night away from the kids.

Well equipped clean studio in Quiet neighbourhood. Near train station with trains to city centre Edinburgh (20 min). Behind the train station there is a supermarket .

Neil was a great host, really helpful with local transport and other information. The apartment was really clean and welcoming and in a great location. Cannot recommend enough.
Excellent location- 5 minutes from the train station (25 mins on train to Edinburgh £7.50 return). Dog friendly (£20 charge but we'll worth it as room so cheap). Excellent value for money. Friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent breakfast included in the price. Comfortable room. Would definitely stay again.
