Offering a bar and mountain view, The Slaters Arms Corris is located in Machynlleth, 38 km from Clarach Bay and 17 km from Castell y Bere. Super clean and nice bedroom! They offer a tasty English Breakfast (we had the vegetarian version), comfortable bed, and we were warm enough during the whole night! It was also very handy to have dinner there.

Baskerville House, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Clyro, 48 km from Elan Valley, 6.1 km from Clifford Castle, as well as 13 km from Kinnersley Castle. Our room, the house, the owners were all charming. The breakfast served was delicious. The mushrooms and tomatoes were the best I tasted in my 10 day tour of Wales/England

Located in Brecon and only 49 km from Elan Valley, Camden Lodge B&B and Cottage Brecon provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Excellent location with beautiful views. A short walk downhill to town. Accommodation was extremely well furnished and clean. We had the best bedroom we'd ever had on a weekend break. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice.

Set in Builth Wells and with Elan Valley reachable within 28 km, Seven Stars Inn offers a restaurant, allergy-free rooms, free WiFi and a bar. We did not have breakfast as we do not eat breakfast in the mornings, but we were offered it and I am sure it was very nice.
Newtown
Situated just 43 km from Elan Valley, The Dolfor Inn features accommodation in Newtown with access to a garden, a bar, as well as bicycle parking. Great staff, service and food!!! We will return
Llanidloes
Featuring garden views, Ty Capel in Llanidloes features mountain views, a restaurant, an honesty bar, a private lounge and a garden. The hosts were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious. The house, its garden and location were very nice.
