Amazing luxury bedroom, largest of our trip with all the comfort of home lounge. Breakfast was exceptional with very friendly and polite staff. An unexpected gem of a stay.

Beds are fitted with duck down bedding, and power showers are standard in the bathrooms. Fantastic place to stay for Scotland exploration. The cottage is cosy, very clean and with some history. Sandy and Cathy are lovely couple. Their Scottish breakfast is delicious. It was our first visit to Scotland and thanks to Sandy's advices we have seen great places that we would have missed. We will highly recommend Shawlee Cottage to everyone. And we will be back :)

Full Scottish breakfast includes locally made sausages, haggis and potato scone, or you can enjoy Scottish smoked salmon on a granary bagel, or an Italian-style bacon, egg and pesto muffin. Traditional Scottish oatcakes and porridge, croissants, muesli and pastries are just some of the choices on the extensive menu. We liked the traditional house the room was in. Amazing hosts Kay and Billie were very helpful and kind. Breakfast was excellent.
