All units in the bed and breakfast are equipped with a flat-screen TV. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hair dryer, units at the bed and breakfast also boast free WiFi. At the bed and breakfast, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Cozy, very clean and friendly host. Breakfast was great and place is close to the main street.
Ballygrant
Kilmeny's location may not be suitable for those guests without their own transport.

The Kilmeny Country House is a beautiful B&B with plenty of antique charm and convient modern amenities. Our rooms were laid out beautifully. Every inch of the room was carefully curated. The bathroom was nicely updated with modern amenities. The view from the room summed up the Scottish country side.
It is located near Port Askaig and is close to many whiskey distilleries. The welcome guidebook includes lots of tourist information.
Margaret will typically greet you with afternoon tea upon arrival. We were, unfortunately, late due to the ferry, but she saved some homemade cake for us, and it was delicious. The breakfast plates and buffet of items are of high quality and delicious. Some items require advance notice. We left on an early morning ferry, and she was kind to pack us a very generous breakfast (and lunch).
Port Ellen
The Trout Fly Guest House offers accommodation in the centre of Port Ellen, minutes from the ferry terminal and only 3 miles from our local airport.
There is a resident's lounge for you to relax in with a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Free WiFi is available throughout the building.
The hosts here go above and beyond for their guests’ comfort, with personalised service and perfect atmosphere and attitude. Nothing could’ve been improved!
Bowmore
The units in the bed and breakfast are fitted with a kettle. Rooms are complete with a private bathroom equipped with a hair dryer, while some units at Dha Urlar also have a seating area.
A continental breakfast can be enjoyed at the property and private Distillery Tours are available at a discounted rate to B&B guests.
More food for breakfast than we could possibly have eaten. Traditional sausages etc, made and served by friendly hosts.
Our hosts went the extra mile, were also very helpful with insider information about Islay. We felt that we were being looked after in the warmest way.
Bruichladdich

The bed and breakfast offers certain units with sea views, and units are equipped with a kettle. Breakfast was great. The host would prepare just about whatever you could ask for in a breakfast. There was no lack of food for eating breakfast. The view of the loch was a nice thing to see in the morning before breakfast and in the evening after a day's travels. The host also make sure we had dinner reservations ahead of time, which is a must on Islay.

The bed and breakfast offers a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bathrobes, slippers and bath. The bed and breakfast provides certain units with sea views, and each unit comes with a kettle. At the bed and breakfast, the units have bed linen and towels. It was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. The addition of the free dram of whisky was a good way to start the day.
Kintra
Glenegedale House offers accommodation in Glenegedale and is situated 5 miles from Port Ellen and 6 miles from Bowmore.
Each room includes a flat-screen TV. Rooms are equipped with a private bathroom fitted with a shower. For your comfort, you will find bathrobes and slippers.
Everything was wonderful. Emma and Graeme were the perfect hosts in a beautifully crafted space. The food - breakfast and dinner was superb. The bed comfortable with soft sheets.
Portnahaven
Burnside Lodge is located in Port Wemyss. Free WiFi access is available. Featuring bathrobes, private bathroom also comes with free toiletries. You can enjoy sea view from the room. Extras include bed linen. The view from the room was amazing. Got a good choice for breakfast. The host was very helpful with great knowledge of the surrounding area and knowledge of the best place to get food

Great location short walk to the ferry as a foot passenger it was easy to reach. No hot breakfast but the continental was brilliant, cereal , toast , yogurt , fresh fruit, pots of tea or coffee. As a single female I felt safe. The staff were helpful and friendly
Nigel, Moira,.Jane and the team at The Islay Hotel are truly great hosts. Professional, friendly, and over and beyond helpful. I highly recommend the daily specials at the restaurant. The freshest ingredients, beautifully prepared. A great location sitting on the beach of Port Ellen and a 20-minute stroll to Laphroaig and other distilleries nearby. Many thanks for your warm and forever memorable hospitality Ilay. I'll be back soonest.

This is in a great location in the centre of Bowmore. it’s easy and free to park on the road right outside. The decor is fresh and modern and has been done to a high standard. There are lots of nice little touches to make it special. it’s more private than a b&b and very peaceful and quiet. The king size bed is super comfy. The host is also friendly and helpful.
