Goonearl is centrally located for all the wonderful attractions. The guest house itself has great communal cooking facilities and comfortable shared lounges and dining. Complimentary coffee tea and pastries and fruit was a nice touch. Good to have a washing machine to use to. The bedroom was comfortable and very clean and the balcony looked over the beautiful garden. As a single traveller I felt safe and comfortable. This would be a great place for a group booking with lots of board games and books to read. A haven to get back to after a day out sight seeing. Only 2 km to the local beach..

At the bed and breakfast, the units come with bed linen and towels. The Wayfarers Lodge was beautifu,l clean and an excellent value. We also appreciated the fact that it was convenient on public transportation (the bus lets you off right at the lodge entrance).

The guest house has a flat-screen TV. The kitchenette is equipped with a toaster, a fridge and kitchenware and there is a private bathroom with bathrobes and slippers. The guest house offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. This was a lovely place to stay, it had a very home like feel. While I don't eat breakfast there was plenty of food options with teas etc etc. I would've stopped off in the pub downstairs if I hadn't already had plans, it was very cosy in there with a wood burner. Though I did get some useful tips from the barmaid (Co-owner Michelle perhaps). The location is out of the way (nice for peace & quiet) but not far away being within 20mins of Helston. I seen other reviews complaining about the access; roads to and parking - ignore, this is not a problem becuase I did it all in a LWB van, a squeeze definitely but done. So, you'll be fine in a car so long as you're a component driver. I definitely recommend this place and it'll be on my list, should I ever return to Cornwall.

The hostess was very pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed the room decor and double bay windows which offered wonderful views. After parking our car upon arrival, we were able to walk to all of our destinations. Thank you!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Britannia House Vintage B&B Cornwall is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Helston, 11 km from St Michael's Mount. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The accommodation provides luggage storage space and a housekeeping service for guests. Breakfast was good freshly made.Location was further from Helston than we realised.
