The Ship Hotel is less than 13 miles from both Chester and Liverpool. All of the attractions of the Wirral are close by, including the village of Port Sunlight, the Lady Lever Art Gallery, and the area's many golf courses, including the world famous Royal Liverpool Golf Club at Hoylake (host to the British Open in 2014). We liked the friendly staff,the lovely and clean room,the beautiful art work and the perfect English breakfast.
Nantwich

Meerkat Manor is a unique property as it is part of a smallholding and guests are surrounded by various animals (sheep, goats, ponies etc) grazing in the garden. The apartment is spacious and self-contained. Although it is B&B rather than self-catering, plates, cups, glasses, utensils are provided. The property is very well maintained and well equipped. The host, Bernie, is very helpful. Breakfast is exceptional and is served in the room piping hot.

Hospitality was excellent, breakfast was fantastic, facilities were great, lovely view from the breakfast room. I really enjoyed the 3 days I spent at HIGHER FARM B&B and recommend it as a place to stay while visiting the area.

Very convenient bolthole to attend a conference. Did exactly what I needed it to do. Great location and nice and quiet. Very cheap and not a palace, but much better than I expected for the price, I will happily return. I was running late due to the motorway being shut, so wasn't going to get there for last check-in. I called ahead and they left the key in the room for me so I could arrive at any point. Very helpful and took the stress off the journey.
Great location to city centre, 10 mins walk. Parking available, opposite house cheap parking. 5 mins away was a street with plenty of food outlets great if you fancy a takeaway one evening
Great location in the city centre but still nice & quiet
Great location. Easy to walk into city centre. We loved being able to look over the canal. Great pub v.close by. The apartment was quiet, clean comfortable and warm.
Good social area. Nice big lounge, seated us all comfortably, with dinning area and french doors onto small private, enclosed garden. Five bedrooms, one with en-suite & big enough for travel cot too. Quiet location but close to zoo and city centre.
Perfect little cottage, ideally located close to the city centre yet quiet and away from the main road. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was stocked with milk, tea/coffee and even a bowl of fresh fruit. Decent pubs and cafes were only a short walk away and parking was only a 5 min walk, there was even a grassed area at the back of the property for doggies too
Great location next to the city centre, quiet room with a comfy bed, delicious breakfast. It’s the third time we stay overnight at the Cheshire Cat, perfect for a short stay! Friendly and helpful staff.
The location is very short walk to Chester city centre and Chester train station, a local shops nearby. Very modern and elegant decor. Bedroom is surprisingly quiet considering the property is located by the main road, the bed is very comfortable. You can go to the place and not to worry not having a towels or washing up liquid as It’s has everything you needed for your stay. Private car park with own allocated parking space for the apartment was a very nice touch.

An excellent, quiet boutique hotel with great facilities within walking distance of Chester city centre, where the hosts are very welcoming, friendly and professional. Private parking was an added bonus too. A nice personal touch of a cuppa and home made cake on arrival! Luxurious room and very comfortable bed. Amazing wonderful breakfast with a great choice and using quality ingredients. 10/10 for us for everything. Thank you Dave and Kirsty for a lovely stay, we will be returning.
