The bed and breakfast offers a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bathrobes, slippers and walk-in shower. All units include a fireplace. At the bed and breakfast, all units come with bed linen and towels. Who wouldn't like to sleep at a castle? We had two perfect nights there and can definitely recommend it. Carol is a wonderful host, always helpful and attentive. The room - we had the Scott Suite - was immaculate, spacious and like a home from home. Fantastic breakfast - and the Port and Whisky were a nice touch, too. We'd love to come back.

In an 18th-century farmhouse, its individually styled rooms have free Wi-Fi and on-site parking. One of the most exceptional BnB’s we’ve ever stayed at. Everything we needed, and more was thought about and in our room. The breakfast is second to none, and our host was such a lovely person. This is a little gem of a place to stay. I love the convenience of it being on the main A68 to Edinburgh. It is quiet and peaceful despite being on the main road. The family who own it are delightful and nothing is too much of a bother for them. The room is cozy with an external private bathroom. There is a kettle with plenty of tea and coffee. A flask of fresh milk is provided which is a lovely touch. Breakfast is delicious. Overall I highly recommend Broomfield House Bed and Breakfast.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They always accommodated us and were very generous. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who stays in Galashiels. The rooms are neat, tidy, and well decorated. The Victorian style of building was very charming and beautiful. The location is amazing, private while being on the river tweed but also close to everything in Galashiels.
Very friendly and inspiring host. Nice Old School-Masters house with lots of atmosphere. Very quiet surroundings. Excellent breakfast served in the fantastic Library. Nice and clean rooms.
Great location in a quiet village at the end of our Pennine Way trip - 10 mins walk from the finish. Steph and Ned went out of their way to help us to dry our wet gear and made sure we'd time for our breakfast and were able to catch our train home. Their home is beautiful with little touches such as Steph's homemade cake and jams. The Scottish breakfast was delicious. We were made to feel very welcome. A lovely stay and we would certainly stay again if in the area again.
The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and spacious. The location is quiet and peaceful, but close enough to Scottsh Borders attractions and Nurthumbria & Hadrians Wall, so there is more than enough to see and do. Lovely garden and private, off road parking for a couple of cars. The owners were helpful but not intrusive.
Excellent breakfast, friendly staff and great location
