Inveraray

We loved our stay of 2 nights in the Garden suite! Simply amazing! When we arrived we had a very nice warm welcome of Victoria, one of the owners of Brambles of Inverary.
The Garden suite is just lovely! Amazing comfortable beds and sofa in front of the tv. My compliments to the housekeeper who specially arranged the stuffed animals of my daughter on her bed when we came back in our room. This totally made her feel really special.
Brambles had their own restaurant and coffee café accross the street. In their restaurant they serve during the day nice lunches including amazing pastries and cakes. I was personally in heaven with 1 of their specialties, the blue berry lemon curd cake with lemon frosting. It's a good thing for my health that I do not live here haha.
The first night we also had dinner at the restaurant of Brambles. This was also really excellent. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. This restaurant is nice for any kind of group.
In the morning we had breakfast at Brambles which was included. You could choose something cooked from the menu and you were able to take anything you wanted from the counter. Like croissants, cereals or juices.
We had Eggs Benedict, very tasty!
Brambles is located at the main street of Inverary. Within 10 minutes walk of the Inverary castle and 1 minute walk of the Inverary Jail. Both I definitely recommend to visit! In the area there are also really nice hikes you can do for example go up the mountain 250 metres high to the look out point of Dun Na Cuaiche. Trust me it's worth it! The view at Inverary and Loch Fyne is breahttaking!
Next time if Inverary is on our route, we will again book our stay with Brambles!
Inveraray

Enormously big suite, very beautiful, Catherine, the owner, is extremely nice and we enjoyed the hospitality of her and her husband.

Everything is perfect from the location, to the design, to the people working here.

Great location in quiet riverside view area outside busier Oban. The older hotel is charming and filled with character, like the dining spaces and 'resident lounge'. The breakfast and dinner were outstanding, and waitstaff exceptional. Quiet and clean room. We would stay again in older part of hotel.
A perfect stay, thank you. It is a beautiful wee apartment with everything you could possibly need. Great location near centre of town but quiet enough for a good night of sleep. A cosy place to spend time, wish we could have stayed for longer! Lyndsey was a great host, really thoughtful and responsive to our questions. Would definitely stay here again :-)
Great location alongside the A82, the main route through the area. Given that, very quiet from passing traffic, etc. Excellent bedroom and bathroom, spacious and well-maintained throughout. While this is an older property, with a lot of local history, it is well-maintained and quite charming. Very efficient and professional staff throughout. Easy access to Glencoe to the north and various other attractions nearby. Excellent free breakfast, great paid dinner in attached dining room / bar.

Great location, quiet and relaxing break, wonderful views. Spacious ground floor self catering apartment on front with a private seating area. everywhere was very well maintained and spotless clean. Ferry, shops and eating places cafes within walking distances. Host Sara lives in next door house, she is helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Breakfast supplies in flat on our arrival. Managed fine without cooker, microwave and toaster etc met our needs.

Kind host that suggested us things to see and provided us a map with Oban points of interest. This is in a great location in the centre of Bowmore. it’s easy and free to park on the road right outside. The decor is fresh and modern and has been done to a high standard. There are lots of nice little touches to make it special. it’s more private than a b&b and very peaceful and quiet. The king size bed is super comfy. The host is also friendly and helpful.
