Make sure if you are staying to book to enjoy the delicious evening meals that Pierre and his wife prepare. They are both perfect hosts. The beds are so so comfortable….we slept like logs. Visit the Romaric Rochette winery (a mile away) and buy some of their delicious wine (which Pierre serves).

The craftsmanship in the woodwork, and the attention to detail. The color scheme was a soft blue/tan neutral. With the stream and water ways in the background, this place makes the most perfect spot for a romantic get-a-way! Our hostess, was delightful in every way. Our breakfast was filled with a variety of bread, cheeses, fruits and jams (a traditional French cuisine) all displayed in the most glorious way. We hope to return one day again!

Buffet and continental breakfast options with fresh pastries, pancakes and fruits are available each morning at the guest house. Maison Hulotte was a perfect three day stay for us. Beautifully decorated, artistic home, in a great location. Mme Berger was a lovely host and excellent cook. Our breakfasts were delicious.

The hotel only has 3 nicely arranged rooms – it felt more like visiting friends than staying at a hotel ;) The location is just perfect for those who want to visit the "royal city" as it is located right at the wall to the old town. Many nice restaurants and cafes nearby. The beautifully arranged terrace with all the plants and flowers and the view over the old city was simply stunning. My kids loved to hang out on the terrace and play with the supercute cats living there :)
