We loved the experience of staying in a centuries-old listed building and discovering aspects of it's history and architecture. Having a great breakfast in a dining room steeped in history was memorable. Secondly, Paul and Melissa were fantastic hosts and it was wonderful to get to know them. Meeting them added to the whole wonderful experience of staying at Le Chateau. If they invite you to chat with them over tea, grab the chance!

Really don't understand the 1* review, we found Clair and Wayne to be excellent hosts who went out of their way to make sure we were very well looked after. It was a warm night but we were given a large fan unit which was more than adequate. The room and the property was exceptionally clean and well presented and the bed was very comfortable. We were given cold beers on arrival (very welcome thank you) and the evening meal was very enjoyable. Yes the property is a bit remote but we would recommend staying there anytime

Peggy cooked us a meal one night on the terrace and it was absolutely amazing. The property is simply stunning, as is the view. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing few days away.

It is situated 47 km from ESTER Limoges Technopole and offers a housekeeping service. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Breakfast was excellent. Perfect for us. While the location is a bit off the beaten track, it was worth the effort
