B&B: This bed and breakfast has an interesting history in WW2, some serious fighting was done in the area.
The owner is very kind and helpful, she is always available for questions and excited to share her knowledge and the history of this B&B and the surrounding area in the World War 2 era.
The rooms we stayed in were comfortable and very quiet in the evening. We had a great view of the front courtyard and the back garden. The bathroom facilities were modern and clean, it beats even some 3 stars hotels that I've stayed in in the past.
The breakfast was delicious with fresh baked bread and different sorts of French cheeses. We even had some homemade crêpes on the first day! The breakfast room was also decorated in various WW2 items.
Overall, we had a great stay at this B&B and look forward to returning in the future! 👍
Le Vast
Located in Le Vast, in a historic building, 12 km from Tatihou Fort, LA VALLEE JOLY is a recently renovated guest house with a garden and bar. Featuring private check-in and check-out, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.
The guest house provides certain units with inner courtyard views, and all units are equipped with a private bathroom. At the guest house, some units are soundproof.

Saint-Germain-sur-Ay

The bed and breakfast offers some units with quiet street views, and the units are fitted with a kettle. At the bed and breakfast, each unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. The rooms were lovely, the property was beautiful and we enjoyed every minute of our stay! Lavender lines the walkway to the room, and it smells wonderful! These were the most comfortable beds we have slept in on our 2 week trip. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the homemade jams, and if we are in this area again, we'll will surely stay here again!
Audouville-la-Hubert
The units in the bed and breakfast are fitted with a coffee machine. A terrace with outdoor furniture and inner courtyard views is offered in every unit. All units feature a private bathroom, a hair dryer and bed linen. Our host Remy, made our stay really nice and gave us plenty of tourist recommendations to see.
Sainte-Mère-Église
Each unit has a terrace, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a dining area and a seating area with a flat-screen TV, while the private bathroom includes a shower and a hair dryer. An oven, a microwave and toaster are also offered, as well as a coffee machine. At the bed and breakfast, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Two weeks in France and this was one of my favorite spots! Peaceful night in this quiet town. La Suite is beautiful, comfortable, and breakfast was well worth the 12 Euros. I would definitely recommend LA Suite and would stay there again.
Saint-Germain-le-Gaillard

The room was very nice, very new (great shower), very tasteful design, very clean. Kristel was always very friendly, uncomplicated and helpful. Family dog - so cute and friendly. We recommend coming here, it is nice for couples and families. The Cotentin Peninsula offers wonderful beaches for a calm vacation (best on wheels).

Quiet, clean accommodation tucked in a laneway yet just a short distance to the center of town. The owner was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

A pleasant welcome from our host Melanie. Wonderful setting on a farm in the beautiful Normandy countryside. Very quiet, our nearest neighbours were sheep! Excellent breakfast buffet of all high-quality products. Half an hour (by car) from Sant-Mère-Église and the western D-Day landing beaches.
We paid a little extra for an upgraded room and were very pleased with it - it was bigger and had a great view of the marina. The location is good too, the staff were excellent and as it's away from the roads, it's quite quiet while still being close enough to walk into the city centre. The breakfast was also very fresh with lots of choice.
Lovely house with a large garden, in a great location, 2 minutes walk from local shops. Extremely well appointed house, with comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Private parking on the driveway that surrounds the property. The host and owner of the house, Irene, couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful

Much nicer than it seemed as we approached - quiet, very comfortable, friendly and welcoming. Lovely helpful receptionist. Great location for walking our dog - close to stony beach and walking/ cycle route along coast. Generous breakfast.
Great location with private parking
The room was a delight, with the bath (big) in the corner!! It had a double aspect and, while it could be a littlenoisy at busy times, at night it was quiet and well ventilated - which we like. The courtyard, restuarant etc. were delightful and the food was to die for!!!! We sincerely hope that we'll be coming back to this cosy hotel and charming town!
We stayed for one night after a day of visiting D-Day Beaches. Great location in a renovated old farmhouse. The area is nice and quiet. Our room was large and stylishly decorated. Very friendly reception by our host who supplied us with a delicious homemade breakfast ont the day of our departure.
