They were very friendly and were very knowledgeable about the history of Calais which they were happy to share with me. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and the dinner was exceptional...one of the best fish I have ever had! I highly recommend stopping here for any occasion. The rooms are very unique and have a story behind them. 10 out of 10 recommend!

The units at the bed and breakfast are equipped with a seating area. Great place to visit! We went here because we wanted to go to the Nausicaá museum in Boulogne-Sur-Mer. The facility where we stayed was amazing, the beds were great and the host was superkind. The breakfast that was included was absolutely amazing and quite diverse. We got some great travel tips from the host (restaurants to go to, places to visit) as well, which made our little holiday even better! It was also really great to have a swim and to meet the donkeys and the goats the owner has. We loved our stay here.

At the property, there is an in-house family-friendly restaurant serving dinner and a selection of vegetarian options. The breakfast was a delight! The recommendation for dinner, and spontaneous offer to call for reservations, was gracious and earned us preferred treatment at a wonderful, traditional, yet reasonably priced, establishment. we would not stay anywhere else in Calais,and look forward to our next visit.

The bed and breakfast provides certain units with inner courtyard views, and each unit is equipped with a coffee machine. The hotel was carefully and delightfully decorated in a kin of regency style! Every single detail was taken into account! Rooms are exceptional, as much as they tea room, the breakfast time and the kindness of its owners, who were present all the time to make our experience unforgettable! Breakfast is so good that you will love it, as much as the whole atmosphere created around the room, with soft jazz music, a fire place and the cute tableware and tables setting! The hotel is truly a boutique space, and is perfected located in the heart of Boulogne old town! One detail that speaks by itself was that our inbound train stopped before Boulogne, and the owner offered himself to go and pick us up to brought us in his car to the hotel! Also, he printed all train options for us for the day after in our return to Paris. These are the type of gestures that make the experience a great moment to remember and make you want to come back again!

The nearest airport is Le Touquet–Côte d'Opale Airport, 39 km from -- La main à la pâte --. Valérie is an outstanding host. She made my stay at Boulogne-sur-Mer a very rewarding one. Thanks to her advice I was able to find the best restaurants in town and the best attractions also. Let's not forget that Valérie was born and raised in Boulogne-sur-Mer. Also the check-in and checkout process was pleasant and easy. I would go back to her place without a second-guess and will recommend it to anyone else.
