The host is very nice, responds to the questions very fast and also gives good suggestions for places to dine.

The bed and breakfast is 3 km from the Natural Reserve of Cumbre Vieja, 8 km from the town of Los Llanos and 30 km from Santa Cruz de la Palma. This was probably one of my favourite stays ever on all of my trips. Yvonne is one of the friendliest and kindest people you will ever meet in your life, and this just made me feel at home and as part of a family. The location was perfect and had an exceptional ocean view with some of the most beautiful scenery on the island.

Pension La Cubana is in the pedestrian area of the old town centre of Santa Cruz de La Palma. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach and the hotel offers free Wi-Fi.

The rooms in the historic mansion of La Cubana have views either onto the pedestrian street or an internal patio. They are equipped with a sink and have access to a shared bathroom. The pension is an old colonial tenement house what can be minus for ones but for me it was a huge advantage - I felt like I moved back in time! It has everything you need, the staff is nice, respond on WhatsApp quickly, very early checkin was possible around 10-11 am, it has a kitchen, common room with balcony with a really authentic street view, centrally located, close to the beach, supermarkets, it was a really amazing stay.
