The suites are located in a renovated building and were beautifully appointed and provided all the amenities needed to provide for a carefree visit. UMA is not a hotel but has a dedicated front desk staff who were most helpful providing directions and dining recommendations. Barcelona is a very large city and the street configuration can be very confusing (next time I will buy a SIM card). However, the location was very central and allowed us to walk to all the tourist sightseeing locations without difficulty. Although the streets are very crowded we never felt unsafe at any time.

Great locations, easy check it, super friendly staff, beautiful and comfortable room. Very comfortable beds. When you closed the balcony door you couldn’t hear any noise from the street. We were leaving in the evening so we also could leave the luggage in the hotel.

Pension Ciudadela guest house is opposite Barcelona’s França Train Station and 100 metres from Ciudadela Park. It offers basic air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, and private bathroom facilities. It's a small hotel but the room was bigger than we expected with provision for storing luggage and hanging clothes and such. They also have a pantry where guests can eat with a refrigerator and microwave for use of guests and water and coffee available at all times. The roof deck was also a nice surprise with various seating areas and view of Barcelona. There is also a supermarket and a lot of restaurants nearby.

Hostal Porxos Garden provides accommodation located 1.1 km from the centre of Barcelona and offers a garden and a terrace. The air-conditioned accommodation is 1.2 km from Somorrostro Beach. Super impressed with Sandra’s abilities to welcome us like we’re friends. She is the director/manager of the hotel and made sure everything was meeting our needs, and did this with such happiness. I will miss seeing her! She’s wonderful! The staff very nice, the breakfast was fresh & yummy each morning. I love the rooftop garden & the decor/style of the hotel. I want to stay there again! Highly recommend.

Fonda Can Llobet, a property with a bar, is set in Santa María del Camí, 15 km from Igualada Muleteer's Museum, 15 km from Igualada Leather Museum, as well as 42 km from Kursaal Theatre. This was a fantastic place to stay. Make sure you realize your sharing a bathroom and common area. I cannot begin to tell you how friendly our host was.

Situated within 500 metres of Platja dels Pescadors and 600 metres of Platja dels Pins, Hostal Manel features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Pineda de Mar. Fantastic staff and welcome, brilliant value for money, real Spanish experience and superb value for money. Authentic Spanish restaurant downstairs serving real cuisine at great prices. Best Paella we have had for a long time. Looking for a one/two night stopover then fully recommend Manel and his family residence.

Set just 40 km from Vall de Núria Ski station, Hostal Cal Pericas offers accommodation in La Pobla de Lillet with access to a terrace, a bar, as well as a lift. Wonderful hosts, at a beautiful comfortable little hotel that has a beautiful dinning area and a lovely breakfast. The room was comfortable and newly renovated. We went with a little dog and the hosts were very friendly and kind. All in all a beautiful experience and definitely recommend

Absolutely everything! The bed was super comfortable, the room super big and the tub simply amazing! The location is right on the beach and next to the central station. The stay was just perfect
