Maria is so sweet and she runs the place herself. She makes breakfast every morning and makes getting around for the day easy, just ask and she'll call up a motocoach or car. It's on the upper floor of her house (separate entrance up the stairs) and there's three rooms that are a great size with modern bathrooms, fans and A/C. The shared area is spacious and gorgeous, with a full kitchen, dining table and a nook with comfy chairs by the windows. It's in a residential area with a colmado on the corner if you need a quick snack or drink. All in all I think this was my favorite place I stayed at while in DR, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in La Romana :). (Pics were taken after checkout but the linen and sheets were great as well!)

The facilities and rooms aren't new and shiny, but they are kept very clean - we won't see any dust or dirt in this place. You can go to the rooftop restaurant and take a look at see from there.

From check in to check out everything was wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts, Rolando and his wife are very nice and responsive, we enjoyed the homey atmosphere during our stay.

All the rooms has a furnished balcony with a view of a Caribbean garden. Our Suites are located two blocks from our Hotel. Nice place. Few steps to all restaurants and bars. Room that has everything that you need. You get free coffee that you can make yourself in the room. People there are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is in other place in good restaurant. Also good breakfast. Really liked hotel and the town.

Location is a little out,but i think thats good,can hop a local bus for cheap.la romana itself is not my cup of tea.main area blaring stereos ruining youre eating experience.the owner of the villas is a very friendly man,wine connoisseur,and a wealth of help there.its a quiet retreat.
