Our room was very cute and clean. We did not realize that there would be a little kitchen in the suite, so that was a great surprise. It was super well equipped. We honestly wished we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were so king. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the small lake on the property. There are also many bird feeders, so you get to watch the hummingbirds while you eat. There is a beautiful gallery as well with lots to see!

It was lovely to have breakfast and watch the birds enjoying the fruit that is put out for them each morning. We also had dinner each evening and the menu was so varied and very international. Eyal is a fantastic host, he is a big character and is so welcoming to all guests. The food was absolutely incredible and we ate in each evening as we did not want to go out and miss his wonderful food. Truly outstanding flavours and quality. Such a beautiful setting. Our room was the jungle room and we loved the jungle theme decoration. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. We had a really good balcony overlooking the lake.

It was such a delight to wake up every morning to a view of the lake and Mt. Arenal! The room was perfectly situated and the view was spectacular. We had breakfast included every morning and it was alway delicious and the food was so fresh...huge portions and coffee refills included. We also ate dinner there every night as it was easy and we didn't have to drive anywhere. The menu had enough variety that we were very satisfied with our choices of evening meals. The soup Azteca and Caprese salad were both delicious! The birdwatching from the balcony of our room was wonderful...we saw several new species including a reoccurring nightjar that came every night to the road next to us. Also saw lots of hummingbirds and other species in the shrubs and trees around the property. It was a wonderful place to get away and close to the volcano park and Mistico as well as several hot springs.
