The owners were really friendly and went to effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Lovely little bowl of Easter eggs was a wonderful touch. Would definitely stay again for a longer explore of the area.

All Saints Estate, a castle built in 1864, is a 10-minute drive away. Everything about this stay was amazing. The hosts Chris and Charlie are the most amazing people you could hope to ever meet (Cleo and I love you guys, can't wait to catch up again). Their dogs are the most friendly you could ever come across and were perfect companions for our greyhounds (Freddie was my favourite but don't tell the others as they all were gorgeous). The house is amazing with all amenities catered for in complete comfort. Chris' breakfasts each morning were a highlight to start each day but the highlight of our trip overall was taking a wine tour with Charlie, a must do for everyone.

The bathroom was just a delight (so much our friends took photos for their own reno). Have to come back to try that standalone bathtub! The included breakfast is amazing! There is a menu to choose from and the food is divine. We had the shakshuka, pain perdu, Vietnamese eggs, babkas... all could rival a 5 start restaurant. Wendy and Martin are fantastic hosts and definitely make you feel welcomed. Oh we also loved the paddle boat and trips around the lagoon!
