True North B&B is 600 metres from Horseshoe Bay Ranch, where you can join a guided horse riding tour. Nelly Bay Harbour Ferry Terminal is 12 minutes’ drive away and Townsville is a 25-minute ferry ride away. Beautiful house in beautiful setting. Very close to the bus stop and short walk to the beach. Wonderful to be kept awake by the bird life. Great breakfast

It is a lovely and cosy place. Every morning, we woke up with cockatoos in front of our windows, flying around from tree to tree.
The bus stop is just 3 minutes away, and we really appreciated that the house wasn't too close to the main areas, as the place was peaceful and we enjoyed the nature sound.

Nelly Bay
Arcadia Beach Guest House and Car Hire is located directly across from the beautiful Geoffrey Bay Marine Park hosting many varieties of marine life. It has wonderful snorkelling opportunities with the self-guided snorkel trail and Molke shipwreck at your doorstep. Stroll to the end of the bay to see the rock wallabies or take a bush walk to amazing lookouts and see koalas in their natural habitat. Loads of info from Ian on what to do around the island, you can rent cars and snorkel gear. We were very pleasantly surprised by the tent, the property was across the road from a beautiful beach. Only 15 min walk from ferry port and lots of places to sit & chill in the evening. We also spotted parrots & possums during our stay which was very fun. Bus stops are very closed too, $4.80 for an all day pass was great.

Great location, close to ferry terminal. Friendly staff at the front desk and in the restaurant. Choice of two pools, one being more quiet than the other. Well appointed and clean rooms. Air conditioning was great

Amazing location and great hostel. We stayed in a private twin room which was great. Shared facilities including pool and bar were fantastic. Very chilled atmosphere where ypu could meet other travellers if you wanted or just relax.

We really liked the situation, with each unit being fairly private, and the facilities on-site were great. It was quiet, and very convenient for catching the bus, also walkable from the ferry terminal at Nelly Bay. The staff were very helpful with lots of suggestions for things to do while we were there. We would definitely consider staying there again if we were to visit Magnetic Island again.
Great location & had everything you need (washing machine, hairdryer etc). Also loved the balcony and the various pools. Kate & Simon were really helpful & great hosts.
Where do I start? 1. The spotlessly clean huge BBQ facility just outside the door. 2. The immaculate tropical garden enviornment 3. The huge rooms with Blackwood period furniture and an outside private shower that you sometimes find in Fiji Resorts 4. The serenity of being away from noisy town and streets 5. The charming manageress who "quietly" queried if all was in order and to our liking.
