The staff were excellent and the breakfasts wonderful.!!We found Mirihif Retreat & historic Montagu special places and an excellent location to stayt o tour the fabulous Robertson Wineries.( Only 20 minutes by car) Note to travellers you need to book for dinner at the house best restaurants in Montagu to assure a seat!

A stunning location. The rooms face the mountains and overlook a small copse of olive trees (I think). Very picturesque! Walking distance to nearby restaurants, plenty to choose from. Kai contacted us about 10 days prior to check-in to suggest places for dinner and then made a booking for us. Very grateful for this as all the restaurants were fully booked for dinner by the time we arrived. Breakfast places weren't a problem.

The accommodation is a hidden diamond and gets a 10/10. The small house is very modern and is in a quiet location. The two bedrooms each have their own bathroom, which we really liked. The highlight is the outdoor area with a small pool and invites you to watch the starry sky in the evening. Dominique is an extremely obliging hostess who even reserved a restaurant for us in the evening. Unfortunately, we were just passing through and were only there for one night. We were therefore unable to try out the adjoining café, which is also supposed to be a highlight. We would definitely come back again.
