Amazing. That's what describes out stay in the best way. Very warm welcome and great hosts. You feel their passion for service and hospitality. The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. There are just 6 rooms so it is overall very relaxed and you will have a wonderful time. Breakfast was very good and also special request were not a problem. Overall our best Holiday Home during our whole ZA Journey! Highly recommend to everybody we just regret not to stay longer than our 3 nights. Thanks again to the whole little Kubu lodge Team for this great experience :-)

Location was great and facilites were amazing for a property in the bush. The property is situated in a conservation zone where animals roam freely. Definitely a 5 star. When i read the ratings regarding this property, i was a bit skeptical; however, much to my surprise, i was amazed with the full package, great room, great view of the bush, great animal sighting right outside our room, excellent breakfast and last but not least, great hosts.

Very original place with a good vibe! Xavier (the owner) will make your stay special. You won’t be bored with him as he has plenty to offer and will perfectly organise your stay in the area. He has a lot of animals in the surroundings. Definitely place for dog lovers (he has plenty of them). Moreover, he cooks delicious meals himself! Worth to mention that we’ve got upgraded :)

The property was so beautiful, clean spacious and had everything we needed. The decor was nice and we loved the outdoor showers. The backyard was also an added bonus.

Good location for various day-trips in the area. We ate at the restaurant both evenings and although the service was a bit slow (as seems normal in South Africa), the food was good. The breakfast was fantastic. They give you a generous credit towards whatever you want on the menu.
