Charming Bungalows is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Mwanza, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Extra facilities include full-day security, meeting rooms, a tour desk and housekeeping service.

The Charming Bungalows really are charming! It is located in a quiet area, rooms are very spacious and comfortable. But the highlight of the place is its staff. Everyone was very friendly and made sure that we had all that we needed and even more! Breakfast was very good (I had read other comments here that mentioned it was somewhat too small but we had more than enough!). We also needed to leave slightly earlier than breakfast time, but they kindly agreed to prepare us breakfast earlier. We also had dinner there every day, which was very practical. We highly recommend staying there and will definitely stay again at the Charming Bungalows next time we are back in Mwanza.

    Big rooms, very quiet location, lots of trees around the house. They organized drivers to and from the airport for a good price. The receptionist is very welcoming and eager to help, as well as the other staff members.

    An unforgettable stay! The host Zacky has warmth and hospitality which makes it truly exceptional. The location was right in the middle of many places. The place feels like home. I loved the quietness and safety. 10/10 on everything!

    Great host, clean and tidy place, right in the city centre. The host is helpful for anything and everything. Zaky even woke up early in the morning to help me catch a boda boda to nyengezi bus station.

    Huge private family villa in an oversized Garden with abundant vegetation. Ideal location, tremendous rooms and bathrooms the size of a room. a very welcoming and friendly Anna, doing her best to help. Very attractive price value. I would return to this centric location. Very quiet at night, very good beds.

    We had a very nice and big room with a private bathroom. The hostel is located right in the city center close to the Bismarck rock. Christina and her son are very friendly and helpful. There is a shared kitchen and fridge you can use and it’s also very secure. We had a pleasant stay und would definitely come back.

    In a good position for exploring the area. Easy to reach the city centre if required but in a quiet location with local walks to rock formations and lake shore. Generally very helpful staff.

    Charming and unique hotel with great location on Lake Mwanza. I dont know if there is such a thing as a "boutique resort", but it nevertheless feels like a very apt description of this place. Has all the comforts of a resort, but with all the charm and vibe of a small, family-run place. Another plus is that they have really great coffee, both at the breakfast buffet and at the coffee shop
