I really liked the decor - the paintings, the lit alcoves with bits of art, the high ceilings, a bit of colour - all that added character to the room. The fountain in the courtyard was special. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee, very good. The staff helped us to book our next accommodation by contacting the venue direct when Booking.com showed it as sold out. The best thing was for sure the host. He was very kind and helpful. The garden and pets were very nice, too. If you like a rustic, rural experience , feeling close to nature, and getting to know the pets and a rooster, it is perfect! The host was also kind to open his restaurant for a home-cooked meal. Check ahead to reserve though if it is the off season.

Best stay of our trip to Taiwan. We had the two level double room. Extremely spacious, most comfortable bed of all the places we stayed. The hosts/owners were very kind and offered us tea and coffee, and the wife offered many suggestions of placed to eat and things to do. The breakfast was delicious and very filling. The abai was amazing!
