It's close to the town center yet feels so far away. It is a very pleasant room with its authentic decoration in a peaceful garden. Especially the hosts were very kind and gave very good suggestions for places to see. The breakfast was excellent, cheese and olives from different regions were served and salads and homemade jams were delicious. Also the breakfast room and presentation was very nice.

If you’re planning a trip to Izmir, staying in this hotel is an absolute MUST. Starting from the beautiful view, the design and the workers everything was extraordinary. Something I personally loved as a vet is that they use a percentage of the guests’ money to take care of the strays. There was a dog and a couple of cats living at the hotel and they were all neutered and in really good condition, happy and fed so they wouldn’t annoy you either while you’re eating. Which brings me to the next topic, the amazing food. The breakfast is absolutely rich and delicious, sth not easily found in Turkish hotels. Don’t miss out on the daffodil Marmelade! It’s absolutely delicious and you can buy it to bring home for only 25 lira, which also goes into animal welfare. The owner of the hotel is also the cook and one night he made us the most beautiful dinner, seating us on the best table with a view you can only dream of. In general all the workers there were so nice and attentive. Also the hotel is only a view steps away from the sea and a promenade with a little market where locals sell their handmade goods, as well as a number of cute little restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy your meal literally on the sea. We had the best time staying there and enjoyed every moment.

I assume it is not an easy job to run a hotel. After staying there for 3 nights I have not been able to understand the Google reviews, am I so different? I see it as my fault, I should have done a better research; I expected the service of a boutique hotel but it seems to be an apartment service (in a hotelroom). I do wish the fam all the luck with running the hotel.

What is luxury? If you are looking for the "real" luxury away from bling bling this is a great location. The situation in the bay of Karaburun is sublime. The rooms with a private balcony give privacy and amazing sunset views. The rooms are equipped with everything you need. There is a great terrace with direct access to the agean see - swim in clear water with the fish. The Hotel is very clean and maintained all the time. Örge is a great host. Invisible if you are looking for privacy, always available if you need something.
