Our most recent and memorable stay(s) at the Principaute reminds us of Maryse Conde’s work Segu, as attention to detail and thoughtfulness have united cultures, continents, and centuries. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the upstairs veranda and being able to take in the full view of the sunrise between the gently swaying palm trees and witness the morning commuters disembark the ferry as we dined on fresh croissants, mango juice, yogurt, fruit, and several cups of coffee.
