For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great location, very comfortable and homely. The couple who own it are really friendly and hospitable. The owner, Jakov, is a chef and all the food, which is excellent, is homemade and locally sourced.
Knappgården is in a quiet location. I had a nice room with a small kitchenette.
Breakfast was excellent. There was a wide variety of food items to choose from, many of them organic.
Lots of free parking nearby and WiFi worked well.
The hosts Annika and Kjell were very friendly and helpful. They gave me some good advice for exploring nature in the surrounding area which made my stay extra enjoyable. Knappgården has an overall warm atmosphere.
We spend a great weekend, the room had a good size with an private entrance that was great for the dogs. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, soap, heated floor and towel warmer. The small kitchen in the room was great to heat food. The breakfast was very good, with fresh croissant and different options of meat.
The hosts were very welcoming, helped with a lot of tips on what to do during our stay, always friendly and ready to help.
Everything - very kind family owns this property.
Booked at last minute, greeted excellently at my arrival. Cosy nice rooms with insect nets in window, so you do not need to worry about fresh air or insect bites. Great Wi-Fi, clean shower with all necessary shampoos, even the toothbrush was given upon arrival - for this price I was not expecting any of that. Was travelling from Stockholm to Are with staying in Sarna, Idre, Vemdalen and Are - this was the cheapest but the best place, where to stay.
Very stylish bed and breakfast. Great house and breakfast, it felt like a transition of time. Very friendly hosts, that have lots of idea to convert that place in an even larger Sweden back country experience place. We will certainly drop in again if we come by to see the developments.
