The staff was kind and the location is amazing. Many good hikes around and a great view if the mountains. The garden was nice.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The staff were extremely helpful and kind, ready to help at anytime. The location is a bit off road but that also mean a quiet and beautiful place near the beginning of a trek to Moldoveanu peak.

The location was great - very quiet and lovely with nearby things to do visit like a monastery and adventure park. We enjoyed the terrace outside with the big shade umbrella and the grill. The room was comfortable with a nice big bed and a cute balcony that overlooked the front yard. The property is well maintained and while we were there were beautiful flowers in bloom. The owners were prompt to respond to our call when we had an issue with the hot water.
The place was amazing from every point of view! I promised myself i will travel again to Casa Bunicului! It’s a place with a history, a meaning, and a heart! I recommend the place to anyone that needs peace and quiet! I enjoyed every moment spent there!

The accommodation is located quietly and close to nature. It has a large beautiful garden where you can enjoy your breakfast or rest after a hike. The interior is nice and the rooms are very comfortable. Plus the host was super super friendly. It was a pleasure to stay there.
