Beautiful walk to Monnickendam and easy Uber trip (or you can catch the local bus) to/from Amsterdam. Enjoyed visiting the animals - cows, chickens & cats. The host, Jannie, is a very lovely lady, and she also offers kayaks/pedal boats for hire.
