If you want to go the Schiermonnikoog, this is the perfect place to stay as well! With a car you can easily reach the ferry spot within half an hour. Its beautiful setting amidst nature also offers a unique opportunity for skywatching and stargazing. Most importantly, the warmth and hospitality of our hosts, Kor and Marja, really made our stay unforgettable. They spent time responding to our questions and curiosities and provided helpful suggestions for exploring the area, particularly Schiermonnikoog. I absolutely loved this apartment! Being an active traveller and very critical this place blew me away. The apartment was so spacious (separate living room/kitchen from bedroom), high level of quality, unbelievable breakfast, tons of personal additions including welcome wine, chocolate and just the best hosts I have every met. The value way exceeds what you pay for this place. I would recommend it as a special weekend away for a romantic anniversary or birthday. Apartment decoration fits perfect the period of this historic home but with mix of modern where necessary.

The location is perfect. Very private and quiet, with a beautiful garden. The surrounding cities are easy to reach. Gea, Jelle and Twirre made us feel welcome!

From arrival to departure we have only enjoyed the accommodation "lt Hazzeleger." Like everyone before us, we also praise the hygiene, the beautifully styled interior with a fantastic bed, the fully equipped kitchen, a ballroom with a shower, etc.. We got everything and lacked nothing. Owner Sarah was very helpful and nice. We had never seen an induction hob, let alone cooked on it. Sarah patiently explained its operation. The breakfast seems to be named after her in Indonesian: "sarapan". Not only was the accommodation spectacular, but also the owners. This BnB gives a very much luxurious tmosphere and is situated in a beautiful Frisian village, where the Dutch/Frisian actor Rutger Hauer, who is even known in Indonesia, lived until his death.
