View was amazing and the sea was crystal clear and warm. The staff were really kind and it was great that transportation from Tawau to the place was organized for us. We had lots of nice prawns and crab with our meals.

We didn’t end up staying as just too small, shower over toilet, no where to put cases/ bags should have realised as super cheap. If you want one night to put your head down it should suit wouldn’t recommend anymore than that.

We stayed in a private two person room. The room was very clean and exactly as in the photos. The AC and hot water worked well and the bed was comfortable. The location is okay - given that it’s semporna and there is all parts of town are rather dirty and grubby, I guess the fact that it was sort of central is what counts. The staff was friendly. There was free water, which was nice. After all, it’s quite cheap, so that’s a plus.
My favourite place in semporna - I always try to stay here when I can.

The perfect place to stay in Semporna, close to all the restaurant and dive centers. Quiet area, friendly staff and very very clean. I´d stay here again if I come back. They even organize tours that are cheaper than in other place and good organized. The dive instructors were great. All in all happy!
Great location and super comfy, I felt safe and at home. Semporna isn’t the most charming of towns, but Amazing Rooms played a big part in making my visit to Semporna amazing! I hope to be back.
Our stay at Ocean House was just alright. The staff stood out as very pleasant, polite, and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. The provision of free drinking water was a nice touch, and the location was conveniently close to the jetty. The availability of parking in front of the building was also a significant advantage, as we were traveling by car and many places in the city center lacked private parking.
The private room was absolutely massive with good air con. We booked twin beds but both were really big. The receptionist Randy was really nice and super helpful! You can book tours through the hostel owner, and the marine park tour is a lot cheaper through the hostel than anywhere else in town. Great location as 5 minutes walk to the jetty for the island tours, and opposite a supermarket
