The family were extremely welcoming. We were invited into their home for light refreshments upon arrival. They helped organise lifts to and from the property at a moments notice. The add on breakfast and dinners were fantastic traditional home cooked meals. Once again we were welcomed into their home to enjoy their families lovely cooking. If you are to stay here, make sure to try the world’s greatest tea imaginable. Highly recommend.

Petra Royal Ranch is in a gorgeous location (we enjoyed viewing the sunset from the front terrace): if you enjoy nature stay here instead of Wadi Musa, especially if you have your own car; Wadi Musa and Petra are under 15 minutes away via a scenic road. Royal Ranch is close to Little Petra which is a terrific site. It's a unique experience staying near the well kept stables and well cared for horses (these are around a courtyard/practice yard, alongside the enclosed dining room). Horseback riding is a great activity here, no matter your experience or how long a ride you take. The dinner we ordered was tasty too. Royal Ranch also has has a very friendly owner Saddam, and two very friendly cats.

It's a family business and they care so much for the guests! We booked a room and we could use the whole floor of the house - kitchen, common room. It's a separate apartment with a separate entrance although the family lives downstairs. The whole apartment is very clean, and the hosts are the most attentive people. The room was spacious, bathroom was good. We had booked a dinner additionally and it was super good and lots of food, totally recommend it. No problem parking a car in front of the house (and you need a car to get around here but there is free parking at Petra as well). There is also a grocery store within walking distance.

The B&B was exactly as described and what we were looking for - and Patricia and Suzy were excellent hosts, as was the whole cat family :). The B&B is quiet and clean and nicely located away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of the town, but still with a beautiful view over the whole town, and close enough to easily reach the entrance to Petra and the main street for an evening out for dinner. There is a peaceful roof terrace to enjoy your morning coffee from, or sunset tea. We also had two breakfasts and one dinner at the residence - breakfast was simple and good, and had a variety of different foods and beverages to suit anyone's tastes, and even better was that breakfast times were flexible depending on your plans for the day. For example, we wanted to be at the Petra visitor centre by 7am, so Suzy prepared breakfast for us at 6am. That same day, we came back to a delicious home-cooked Jordanian meal, which was exactly what we needed after a long day out exploring Petra. However, the real gem of this place was Suzy, who is incredibly kind, warm-hearted and passionate about the region and gave us excellent advice for our trip. Thank you so much Suzy and Patricia, we hope to come back again one day!

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location with a wonderful breakfast. The staff were exceptional and the accomodations were great! We visited Petra and stayed at the Petra Moon Luxury Hotel-not sure if the other Petra Moon Hotel is as nice as this one. Lovely roof top pool.

The hotel has a great location, near the town center and the entrance to Petra. You can find free parking space infront of the hotel. And the view from the room is fantastic. The Room was clean and spacious (great value for money). The host is very friendly, kind and helpful. He prepared us an excellent breakfast. The possibility to have an early check-in and late check-out is great, we have never experienced this possibility in any other hotel or private accomodation and thank you for that.

great hostel with lots of people around while still being cozy and quiet to sleep. note that these are capsule rooms, not private rooms as we had thought. bathrooms were cleaned regularly but the toilets did not flush properly and the shower heads did not fit on the shower head holders so you have to hold up the shower head above you.
