The rooms were beautifully finished and very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. We were the only guests in the place as we were there slightly out of season but Maria, her mum and her aunt had clearly gone to a great deal of trouble to put on a spread that would have fed 30 people rather than 3. And it was absolutely delicious. Cereal, cake, fresh fruit, juice, freshly baked bread, meat, cheese, probably far more that I can’t remember. They told us to use the breakfast to make up lunch for our journey. Just unbelievably kind and genuine people.

Palazzo Camerlengo and our host Lucrezia were simply outstanding. Upon arrival we were greeted with kindness that made us feel like family. Our suite was beautifully presented, with oversize bathroom, bath for two and a stairway to a breathtaking rooftop where we frequently enjoyed aperativos and treats from the local stores and the vast views of the ocean and the countryside.
