The contact with the owner through Internet is easy and she is always available. Lots of information about the surroundings is available. The place is very beautifull, clean and has a nice fragrant air. The breakfast is self-service. Personnally it was perfect for me. Lots of food, good variety and good quality. Fridge, Cloth dryer and personnal soap quality, above the average, makes this place stands out.

We ordered a small bedroom and it’s very comfortable, quiet, clean and decorated with good taste. The tea they offered in the room was good quality. If you are visiting in winter , the building is so warm and staying in the hot water swimming pool and jacuzzi are the best thing to do(they were both clean and the temperature of water is perfect). You can also join the 30 mins free tour organized by the owner in the morning get to know more about this historic beautiful place.

It was just great, al the members of the staff are kind and helpful, breakfast was also good and the place is charming. The owner showed and explained us the history of the convent for 1 hour aprox and it was amazing. They even gave us a sample of their local honey, there were so many details and it’s such a different experience that I would recommend it to everyone.

Atmospheric, quiet, quirky, sympathetically refurbished - the view and the swimming area are a dream. Food is like home cooked and a very good value too. We are hoping to go back.

From the moment we stepped into the cloister we felt the urge to quieten our minds and indulge in the peace of Convento San Bartolommeo.
