I can't begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay here. Staff were really friendly and so approachable and kind. They couldn't be nicer. I only ever stayed here this one time and wasn't expecting such a nice experience as I had experienced other BnB stays that we're way below this particular standard so I was blown away at the kindness of the staff and most importantly how airy and bright the place was. It was absolutely sparkling clean and I couldn't believe how well it was kept. The artwork was vintage and the tiles in the bathroom were vintage as was the style of the decor but it worked really well because he room was sparkling clean and really complimented the entire style of the building because it was well kept. In other stays at BnBs we experienced dated and old decor that just felt dated and carried a musky scent, so I was pleased to see that the staff had high attention to detail and cleanliness here to encourage the decor to be vintage and with a modern take and fresh smelling which was very refreshing and welcoming. The window was open in the room when we got there so it carried a nice bright and fresh feel to the room once entered. Absolutely excellent attention to detail. I just can't speak highly enough. We had a lovely sleep in a massive super king bed which was an absolute dream to spend a night in and we also had a tv eith standard channels. Shower was adjustable strength and temperature which made for lovely relaxing showers and a nice bright and clean toilet space. The food was absolutely delicious. The breakfast was great and the staff were very kind yet again which was wonderful to wake up to as a morning welcome with some nice grub. Best part of the entire experience was the Guinness. Some of the nicest Guinness I have ever had, and it was a shock but couldn't have enjoyed it more, and I most certainly will be back to experience this wonderful place in full again.

Very clean affordable period hotel accommodation on Slane's main street. Charming old hotel. Excellent breakfast. Interesting, if limited, sights around the hotel. A few but not many places to eat in Slane. The local pub is a friendly place that encouraged us to bring in out take out food and eat it there. Street parking.

Clean and comfortable. This is our third stay at this quaint hotel , we love the comfortable surroundings and charming decor . The food is excellent for dinner , lunch and breakfast we haven't tried the afternoon tea yet but it looks yummy . The location is perfectly placed to visit Newgrange, Tara and Slane hill . Navan is just down the road with any and every conceivable shop you might want. The ledwidge museum is just up the road and a must visit . So much to see and do in all the surrounding areas . Will be back soon .
