The gardens, their dogs, the size of the bed and the bathroom - shabby-chic -perfect for the age of the property. The host was great and the breakfast was exceptional - fresh bread- scones - full Irish - high quality ingredients and awesome black pudding.

The staff and the manager/landlord were very friendly and helpful to us. The breakfast was excellent and the room was clean. The shower was amazing. They were extremely welcoming and were more than helpful when it came to our dog who loved his stay there. On the whole we liked the hotel. Big plus was the brilliant shower. That's a huge thumbs up.

The whole experience was excellent, nice quiet village, not to far from your main towns.
Facilities were very clean and bed was super comfortable, everything you might expect and need. And lets not forget 'scooper' the dog, very friendly and always excited to see you. And as of the owners, very polite and helpful, couldnt ask for anything more.

The photos do not do this place justice. Some rooms I believe are a little brown. But the room I stayed in and the rooms beside me we decorated so beautiful! You could tell the person own does the decor really enjoys it. Super clean rooms! Comfortable and quiet. Stunning breakfast with fresh fruit compote and freshly made grill.
Great location, great hosts! Very clean facilities, good breakfast. Quiet and green area, all comfort! Special thanks to Veronika, who made us feel very welcome, and has been a great host!
Margaret is lovely and the breakfast is awesome so comfortable and great value. the room is very private and quiet and the area is wonderful with some nice restaurants nearby in walking distane
Beautiful house in a very quiet country setting with friendly dogs. We were in a Luxury Quadruple room and it’s quite possibly one of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in! Very spacious and decor very much to my liking. Enjoyed a bath too, very relaxing on the muscles after a days walking.
We loved the private sauna in our room- a real treat! We loved our greeting from the four-legged hosts too. Bed was comfy, the location is very quiet and elegantly furnished, with absolutely beautiful surroundings. Breakfast options were very tasty. And very close to Avoca hand weaving mill if you’re interested in that too.
Loved location. Very very peaceful. Staff super friendly. Lovely walk around grounds. Gorgeous autumn colours. Quaint dinner in armentos. Nice pint in the pub on hotel grounds. Very peaceful quiet sleep. No bedroom issues.
