The property is situated 'almost' on Nathan Road, but I have to admit we had difficulty finding the entrance, as the entrance actually on Nathan Road (as per the address) is not the way in!! Having said that, once you know the way to get there it couldn't be simpler. If using MTR, use exit B1 at Yau Ma Tei station. At the top of the stairs basically do a left 180degree turn and immediately you begin to walk down the road the entrance to the building is on the left (next door to the jewlers). It does look a little unwelcoming admittedly, but it is fine and there are quite a few residents in the block. You need a entrance code to get into the building. From there take the lift up to Floor 8 (the lifts can be slow and very busy), where there is a sign 'Bloomsbury Inn'. Again, another code is required to get into the area, and then a card key to get into your room. There are only about 5 rooms in total.
The room is not large but adequate in size. There is no wardrobe and no drawer facilities which were the only downside. There is a small fridge and the wifi and air conditioning were really good. We overlooked Nathan Road and considering how busy it can be there with traffic we could hardly hear a thing. Being so close to the MTR is fabulous as it can keep you out of the heat and humidity or rain as soon as you leave the accommodation! The shower is good, but the sink very small.
There are quite a few places to eat nearby, especially on Nathan Road, plus several 'take aways', and a small supermarket just across the road for provisions / snacks.
If wanting to pay by credit card check they take it, as when we went they still weren't set up for accepting credit card payments even though it indicated that credit cards were accepted on the Booking.com site.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
