Fantastic apartment with amazing views of Monemvasia. Our terrace was huge and we enjoyed watching the sunrise from there as recommended by our host! The bedroom is spacious and comfortable and we slept really well. Good sized bathroom with two sinks and a big shower. You can walk into Monemvasia in 25 mins so no need to worry about finding space in the main car park. Really friendly host who gave us great recommendations for dinner and how to get to Elafonisos island. Would highly recommend this place for a peaceful and quiet stay within easy reach of the bustle of Monemvasia.

The room was very clean and cosy. The decoration was very beautiful. Everything was like at the photos and even better. The kitchen was also well equipped and the stuff really helpful! The breakfast and the breakfast area were exceptional! The house is very very close to the place where you can swim.

Useful information: The roads inside the Castle are cobbled and slippery. You can approach the castle-town by any vehicle ONLY up to the main gate. CAUTION! Cars are not allowed inside the Castle. From the main gate onwards you can only walk on foot. Please, seek for parking on the road that connects the bridge with the main gate. There is no private parking in the area.

We felt like we were staying with family. Hosts Theofanni and Christos were very helpful and informative and their passion for the preservation of the Montemvasia history and heritage was wonderful. Downstairs is a library and art gallery which was very interesting and added to the uniqueness of the property. Breakfast was served on outdoor balcony. (Extra charge supplied by nearby cafe) was substantial with the best homemade spanakopita, Greek yoghurt and honey and omelette. The hotel is very stylishly decorated. Adults only policy makes for a serene stay. Very good communication from hosts about how to get there and heads up about the rocky undulating nature of the walkways plus many steps. You wouldn’t want to be dragging heavy luggage from car into castle compound and to hotel so it was good they informed us at time of booking.

We stayed in the suite. It was worderfull - full of history, practical and spaceious. Even a courtyard, where you can sit outside. The hosts Mr. and Mrs. Ardamis are cordially and nice.

Kellia is the right place to stay if you want to enjoy Monemvasia old town charm to the fullest. Our room was full of old-time character and and we enjoyed the warm night at the huge terrace. Personnel was super nice and we had absolutely the best breakfast in Peloponnesos! Will definitely book again if happen to be in that region.
