A gorgeous place to stay, staff were friendly & approachable. Both main and breakfast were delicious and great value for money. The pub/restaurant was cosy, and we got lucky with the warm weather to sit in the garden! The room was clean and modern, will definitely be coming back here again. Thankyou :-)

My wife and I (and our dog) just stayed one night en route from Hastings to Yorkshire. Our hosts made our short stay a positively memorable experience. Their two lovely rescue dogs (setters) were a bonus for us and for our own dog.
Breakfast couldn’t have been better. This accommodation is nothing like a “Premier Inn”, instead it is a comfortable, cosy cottage that has charm and character run by hospitable and warm hearted hosts.
My wife tells me that I made a very good choice in booking Mountain Ash and I would agree.

Dinner, a nice Lasagna and the kitchen reopened specially as I was late but they were still there.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Quaint cottage. Very clean, hosts welcoming, couple of issues which were promptly sorted, very quiet, Pub 10 minutes up the road serving good food (shame it does not open every day) as it is the only one in the village.
Great location - peaceful, rural, with a short drive to Woodhall Spa shops and eateries.
Spacious living room with plenty of comfy seating.
Private garden overlooking fields and river.
Pleasant helpful hosts.
Easy parking right outside the cottage.
Nice pub with good food a short walk away.
Great location, the tent has everything we needed and more (cooker, fire pit for BBQ, fridge, kitchenware, kettle, table chairs). The children’s beds and table & chairs were an excellent touch. Facilities are good and clean. Hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful - brought toys out and a mud kitchen for my girls. Lovely swing, quiet area, peaceful with wildlife (birds, rabbits). I’ll be coming back with some more family!
Everything, great location.
Beautiful accommodation
Great hosts, helpful and welcoming.
Nice little touch leaving biscuits, tea , coffee and milk.
Would highly recommend
Welcoming arrival. Well located on outskirts of Woodhall. Motel style with private entrance. Spacious spotless accommodation. Excellent breakfast with wide choice. As restaurant temporarily closed for refurbishment, owner offered to ferry us to a venue for evening meal.
The property was as near perfect as possible. The rooms were artfully decorated to create interest, warmth and a sense of luxury.
The bed and bedding were superb, I had the best night’s sleep that I’d had in a long time.
Breakfast was excellent, all the ingredients were top quality and tasty.
The hosts were charming and attentive.
I was very relieved because I was responsible for booking the accommodation for us and our friends!
