Located just 24 miles outside of Lincoln, The Leagate is nestled in quiet village of Coningsby. Surrounded by countryside, this 16th century inn offers free parking on-site and free Wi-Fi access to all guests. It also has a bar and a restaurant.

The restaurant serves a full English breakfast and a continental breakfast in the mornings. In the evening, there are a variety of bar meals available to guests along with a wide range of beverages.

Place was outstanding, people so friendly and made our dog welcome. Loved hearing all the history of the Inn. Would definitely stay again. In fact is probably near top of my list of favourite places to stay.

Self contained room, all nice and new. Accommodation-only basis, but wasn’t a problem as Woodhall Spa close by with plenty of places for brekkie etc. Host thought of everything…plenty of toiletries in case you’d forgotten anything, hairdryer supplied, plates/cutlery in case takeaway ordered! Couldn’t fault it and superb price! Would use again if back in the area.

What a find. The hot tub was superb. Hot, with great jets to sooth and ease your muscles. Lots of extra touches. Bed linen was so lovely I am looking to get some of my own. Animals around made it feel very homely. Quiet apart from Captain Crunch but that was so lovely to hear in the morning. Had a wonderful meal in a local restaurant recommended by the host - Flair - excellent value.

Host could not be more welcoming! Great location with Coningsby Raf base pretty much visible from the window for any BBMF fans. We had all intentions to make use of the lovely hottub, but fell in love with the ponies, Warrior and Peaky and spent hours sitting with them and Captain the Cockerell in the evenings. Had a great couple of days, thank you!

We had a lovely stay at the stable annex. The whole experience was perfect and Teresa was a great host. The annex itself had everything we needed and lots of nice touches including books to read, games etc. Nothing was too much for Teresa and she made us a homemade breakfast every morning which was delicious and very well priced. We loved the hot tub and feeding the horses too, the annex is in a great location with nice pubs and restaurants within a 5 minute drive. We will definitely come back, thank you!

Breakfast was superb. A very big choice with no problems about having a bit of this or a bit of that! Great location, very quiet with limited passing traffic. Ideal for plane spotters wishing to go to Coningsby. Or sit in the garden and watch the Eurofighters coming over. ( normally only during daylight hours) Barry and Corrine are very friendly people and go out of their way to make sure everything is excellent!
