Breakfast is great, homemade marmalade a real treat. Rooms have no keys, just access codes. Really lovely quirky property. I had to go out to work at 5am (came back for breakfast) and there's special door to use. Nice biscuits!

River View, hotel in Woodbridge

Set in Aldeburgh and only 22 km from Framlingham Castle, River View offers accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Visited with my wife for the weekend as we had a wedding to attend in Thorpeness. Property is amazing, very picturesque and the decor is immaculate and tasteful. Location was very quiet and remote and to wake up with the view of the sailing boats on the estuary was breath taking. Breakfast was lovely, mainly granola, toasts and jams with yogurt and fresh fruit. Free parking and trails to local walks to take in the scenery. There are local pubs and the Maltings at Snape Bridge just a few miles drive away. Kate and Dom are fabulous hosts living nearby and nothing was too much trouble.

Paid for "superior double" because no cheaper rooms available through Booking.com on our dates. However, room was spacious and with a balcony and lovely view over golf course. Good breakfast. Did not eat dinner at hotel as too expensive for us. Quiet carpeted corridors. Generally - at least for our stay - a quiet and relaxing place.

Perfect location, in the centre of town, but nevertheless incredibly quiet and peaceful. The host was very helpful, the accommodation was immaculate, bright and lovely and warm. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling clean with every little luxury. Everything had been thought of, fridge, microwave, kettle etc. There is a garden table and chairs which I would have used if the weather had been warmer. I would highly recommended it !

Very quiet and private location, but short drive to amenities. The property itself, was exceptionally clean and well maintained. As a party of two couples was great to have an en-suite each and another toilet. Kitchen had everything we needed. Secure garden a big help with the dogs.

A quiet and quaint property. Walking distance from the small town that had everything needed. Living area was lovely with features and particularly good when had the fire on (however would have been useful to know we needed to bring our own logs etc) Kitchen mostly well equipped - but needs kitchen knives eg bread knife, paring knife
